CULTURE CHEATING AMONG STUDENTS
Cheating seems to have become a habit of some of the students started to elementary students to college students. How to cheat also increasingly diverse and sophisticated. If in the old days only cheat sheet written in small paper or create graffiti on the table. Now cheating is already using technology tools. It is also caused by the lack of concern of teachers to more objectively supervise their students
Cheating has adverse effects such as:
1. Lazy learning. People love to cheat will not have a high motivation to learn. They learn even more lazy and rely cheat when the exams. As a result, students may be able to get good grades but it certainly can not be the master of science.
2. Ordinary lie. Cheating is the same lie. To achieve its mission, ordinary people who cheat will usually also lying. They became accustomed dishonest. Of course lying habit is causing people do not trust the words and deeds.
3. justifies any means. Whatever will be done by people who used to cheat. They will look for various ways in order to cheat successfully. The danger justifies the attitude this way can become a habit.
4. Infectious. There are likened to cheat it with diseases that can be transmitted to other students. This bad habit was contagious and spread to the entire class. In fact it could be transmitted to other classes.
5. Do not trust yourself. Plumbers cheat the people who are not confident. The more often he was cheating, diminishing his confidence that he could do himself.
Adverse effects of cheating is greater than it actually is. Cheating behavior with all its adverse effects can become a habit out of school or college. They will be people who are lazy, lying, justifies any means, no confidence and a poor example for their peers.
For it began reducing cheating, of course, need the support of all parties. As semiannual activities teachers should be more objective in overseeing these activities in order to minimize the cheating-cheating. Let us stop the habit of cheating from now, starting with ourselves. Better get good grades on learning outcomes rather than be the value of the result of cheating.
